A clear understanding, from the start.
Terms of Use
1. The service
Guesthaus helps creators, brands, producers, event teams and agencies coordinate curated event opportunities. Applying, opening an account or expressing interest does not guarantee approval, an invitation, attendance numbers, content performance or paid work.
2. Accounts and accurate information
Use information you are entitled to provide. Keep sign-in links private, do not impersonate another person, and tell the team if account information is inaccurate or access appears compromised. Any minimum-age or guardian-consent requirements are to be confirmed; individual venues may have their own lawful entry requirements.
3. Invitations and event arrangements
A request is not a confirmed invitation. Confirm date, venue, access needs, arrival window and any content expectations with the event team. Notify the organiser promptly if you cannot attend. Venue safety rules and agreed event-specific arrangements should be supplied before participation.
4. Fees, cancellations and changes
Any fee, deliverable, cancellation condition or refund arrangement should be agreed clearly in writing before a paid booking. This placeholder does not impose a charge or establish a blanket no-refund rule. The business's actual pricing and cancellation policy is awaiting approval.
5. Content and permissions
Only submit content and profile information you have permission to share. Creators retain their existing rights; this draft does not grant Guesthaus or a brand an unlimited content licence. Any reposting, campaign use, paid promotion or exclusivity rights should be separately explained and agreed. Follow applicable advertising-disclosure requirements.
6. Respectful and safe use
Do not misuse accounts, attempt unauthorised access, submit harmful material, harass others or interfere with the service. The draft Code of Conduct sets out the proposed community expectations. A final policy should describe fair review, urgent safety actions and an appeal route.
7. Availability and consumer rights
Online services and third-party integrations may be interrupted, and published information may need correction. Nothing in the final terms should remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. See the ACCC's consumer-rights guidance.
8. Questions, disputes and final approval
For a general question, email concierge@guesthaus.xyz or use the website enquiry form. Formal legal contact details, response procedures and governing-law provisions remain to be confirmed. These draft terms should receive business and qualified legal review before they become effective.
